Ready to begin your study of Politics?
There is no single route into the study of Politics after year 11. Although there is a GCSE in Politics, few students get the chance to study it.
It’s always best to approach your study of Politics with an open mind and to be prepared to have your views and ideas challenged as you develop your political studies. You don’t need to have any particularly strong party preference just the willingness to see things from as many angle as possible before deciding exactly where you stand on any political issue.
So, here are some things to read, some things to watch and some things to listen to. We have also included some ideas for things you may want to argue about.
Bookmark this page and keep checking back for updates as we add more ideas to inspire you. We will also post regular competitions for you to enter.
